How much are financial accountants paid roughly?
and how competitive is it for a job? in the UK btw.

Don't know if this will help but in Cyprus I paid CYP£60 + vat a month, and for what they did £6 would have been too much

Accountants won't accept rough payments. I hear it's well paid but tedious work. And it's a profession. You have to study.

Totally depends on where you are looking, if you have a background (including a college degree), if you have passed the CPA exam. Good ones are usually don't have a problem finding a job. A friend of mine, in Chicago, got hired in at about $45K per year our of college in 1999, but she was top 10% of the graduating college class. She got her CPA and 7 years later is around $75-80K. This should continue to go up with experience. Chicago is a relatively expensive place to live, so this will vary depending on the market.
